Gardener’s Notes: Sow seeds 2- 3 inches apart in well-drained soil after frost danger is over and temperatures are warmed above 50F (10C). In cold winter area, start seeds indoors 4 weeks before last frost and transplant well-established seedlings. Carefully thin or transplant seedlings in the garden to stand 10-12 inches apart so they have growing room. Water consistently and cut stems of flowers as they open for bouquets. Remove spent flowers for longest bloom.
