Gardener’s Notes:Â
Warm season crop. Start seeds indoor 6 weeks before last spring frost. Keep moist but not soggy and very warm. When seedlings are 2″ tall, transplant into individual containers. Plant outdoors in rich soil in full sun when night temperatures stay above 13C (55F). Provide tall cages or stakes at planting time. Water regularly. Pick when fruits are red and fully ripe. Â
