Tomato House Cherry – Eagleridge Seeds
Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme
A Canadian Family heirloom brought by Russian Immigrants to Saskatchewan at the turn of the century. A unique habit, the name comes from the ability to overwinter this variety as a house plant. It can be grown outside then brought indoors. We have grown them out in pots. They can also be cut down and they will sprout again. The plants are small with tiny leaves and bright red flat cherries that grow for months. The taste is delicious and slightly sweet. Start them in early spring. This packet is 5-10 seeds.
