Black Eyed Susan Thunbergia covers itself with lovely yellow, funnel-shaped flowers about 5 cm (2″) in size. The fast-growing vine is ideal for covering trellises, fences, and low walls. These flower covered vines can also be grown well in hanging baskets.

Sow seed directly into the garden once all danger of frost has passed. For earlier blooms, start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Prefers well drained soil in a sunny, sheltered location.

Excellent for temporary screens, hedges, and ground cover. Support by a trellis, strings, or wires to cover unsightly tree stumps or rocks. Keep soil moist.
