Also called ‘love in a mist’, nigella is a classic addition to the summer flower garden. The crisp, white blooms are surrounded by unusual feathery bracts and attractive fennel-like foliage. This hardy annual self-seeds readily makes a wonderful cut flower and if left in the garden leaves a unique seed pod that can be used for crafting.
