Sow after final spring frost, 13mm (1/2″) deep into rich, warm, well drained soil. Space 5cm (2″) apart and thin to 10cm (4″), then to strongest plants to recommended plant spacing.
For earlier blooms, sow 4-6 weeks prior to final frost. Keep warm (20C/68F) and moist. Thin to individual pots, harden off and transplant to the garden 2 weeks after final frost.
Remove faded blooms for continuous flowering.
Nick the seed coat slightly, then soak for 24 hours before sowing.
