A hardy biennial, Lunaria, known as the money plant is a favorite in dried flower arrangements. The flowers are purple and white, but the plant is grown mostly for the seed pod, which is round, flat, silvery white and paper thin. When dried, the seed pods make an attractive and unique addition to bouquets or dried flowers. When pods turn brown cut stems to the ground.
