Can be started directly outdoors in the early spring just before the final frost, or for early flowers, they should be started about 8 weeks before the final spring frost. Sow the seeds and cover with soil 3mm(1/8″). Germination takes 7-14 days at 18-22C (64-72F). Once seedlings are ready, harden off and transplant one week after final frost. Water regularly, but do not over water.
Cut back after flowering. Will grow well in sandy soil. Divide the plant every three years.
