Growing Instructions:
Any good garden soil with full sun will grow carrots. A loose crumbly soil with good moisture holding capacity is best. Sow seeds 3mm (1/8in) deep and 8cm (3in) apart in rows spaced 30cm (12in) apart. Carrots are very cold hardy and can be started early when the first leaves of Spring bulbs appear. Replant successive crops every 20 to 40 days during the growing season. Harvest any time after the carrot roots develop good colour.Â
