Borage – Mr. Fothergill’s Seeds
Borago officinalis
Bright blue star-shaped edible flowers in which leaves can be used in salads and cooking. Adds a delicate cucumber flavour to foods, used in traditional medicine.
Borage also attracts pollinators to your garden and is an excellent companion plant for many vegetables.
How To Grow |
Sow 10mm (½”) deep in flowering position in full sun or semi-shade. Firm down gently and keep moist. Use leaves in salads and cooking and the flowers for a garnish. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. |
