Bells of Ireland – Pacific Northwest Seeds
Moluccella laevis
- Grows best in partial/full sun.
- Annual
- Plant grows 24- 36”/60-90cm.
This attractive plant produces long, graceful stems covered with lime green, bell-like blossoms. The “bells” encircle each stem and are produced all summer. The true flowers, which form inside the “bells”, are small and insignificant, yet fragrant. Use in beds, for fresh cut flowers and in dried arrangements. Seed sprouting is slow and seeds require light, so keep seedbed moist and do not cover seeds deeply.
