A fragrant mix of bright spring colours, such as pink, purple and white can be expected when these flowers are in bloom. Exposure to full sun is preferred in May to July, with booms that can be expected mid-summer to early autumn.
Sow:
Indoors February to April, a quarter-inch (0.5cm) deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Maintain a gentle warmth, 15-20°C (60-68°F) and keep moist. Thin (prick out) to further pots or trays when seedlings are large enough to handle. Gradually harden off in May before planting out to final position 24in (60cm) apart.
Outdoors, May to July, a half-inch (1.5cm) deep in flowering position and keep moist until established. Space out to approx. 24in (60cm) apart.
