Gardner’s Notes: Start seeds indoors 3 weeks before last frost or sow directly outdoors in spring when night temperatures are above 50F (10C). Grow in fertile, well-drained soil, spacing seeds 1-2″ apart. Press seed into soil but do not cover. Thin seedlings 4-6″ apart when small. Keep evenly moist for best bloom. After flowers fade, shear plants back to half their height to encourage rebloom.
