A versatile, high quality, pickling type cucumber. County Fair produces mainly female flowers that has the ability to set nearly seedless fruit without a pollinator if kept away from other types of cucumbers. 1.5 meter (5′) plants bear an impressive amount of 15-20 cm (6-8″) long blocky dark green fruits. Fruits are sweet, bitter-free with a crunchy firm texture making it also a tasty slicing cucumber.
Suggestions:
Plant at 3 week intervals up to midsummer for fresh cucumbers all season. Keep fruits picked.
