Giant Noble Spinach produces large, spreading plants with huge, dark-green leaves. Giant Noble produces an abundance of smooth leaves with excellent flavor. This cool weather vegetable is easy to grow and slow to bolt.

Sow in rows directly outdoors as soon as the ground can be worked. Place one seed every 2 inches and cover with soil. When plants are 3 inches tall, thin to 6 inches apart. Use the tender thinnings in salads. Harvest before flower stalks form.

Best growth occurs in spring and fall. Make a second sowing in late summer for a fall crop.
Preparation Ideas:Â Avoid over cooking spinach as their taste can become bitter. Remove from heat as soon as leaves begin to wilt. Add flavoring such as freshly squeezed lemon juice.
