Brassica rapa var. rosularis
Sweet, mild flavour in small round white stalked leaves that grow in compact rosettes. Delicious raw or cooked; young leaves make a tasty addition to salads. Direct seed immediately after last frost, 5mm-1cm deep and 15-30cm apart; size of heads will depend on spacing. Stagger planting through the season for a continuous harvest; seed as late as September and add a cloche or floating row cover in October. Tatsoi is one of the most cold hardy greens. Remove leaves and have continual growth or cut with a sharp knife at ground level and plants will not grow back. 30 days to maturity.
