Gardener’s Notes: Sow seeds in spring directly into well-worked, fertile soil, spacing 2 in. apart and 1/2 inch deep in rows 18 in. apart. When 2-3 in. tall, thin seedlings to 12 in. apart, so plants have room to grow. Transplant thinned seedlings or enjoy for tasty for tasty meals. When plants have 6-8 stalks, harvest by snipping outer stalks at plant base. New leaves grow back for continuous supply.
