Big Max produces large, exhibition sized pumpkins! The ideal pumpkin to turn into extra large Jack o’ Lanterns. Nearly round pumpkins with thick, red-orange skin and bright yellow-orange flesh. The flesh itself can be used in canning and for freezing.

Growing Instructions:
Plant in late spring after the last frost when the soil has warmed. Select a location with full sun to partial shade. May be started indoors for transplants 2 to 3 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds 2.5cm (1in) deep in hills with 4 sowings per hill. Space hills 2m (6ft) apart. For the biggest pumpkins, allow only 1 or 2 to form on a single vine.
