Gardener’s Notes:Â Easiest to start indoors 6 weeks before last frost. Sow 1 inch apart in a container of seed starting mix. Cover 1/4 inch deep. Keep moist and warm until seedlings are ready to plant outside. Water plants regularly for best flowers and remove faded blooms to encourage reblooming. Mulch well in fall. Divide plants every few years. Hardy zones 3-9.
